She has simply threaded some pearls through some pink ribbon.

.....and punched some hearts from some A4 card (small white dots on pink).

3d Cardboard Letter - Papier Mache - Letters R, A and F.

Hopefully, you will recognise these Papier Mache (3d cardboard) letters on the COVER photo that Lynn made for the shop and the Flutterby Crafts FACEBOOK PAGE!

Lynn has painted all the letters using a range of colours using Jo Sonja's paints and mediums.

For the letter 'R', she stamped the letter all over with a lovely decorative stamp and added some gems to bling it up!

With the letter 'A', Lynn has applied some Jo Sonja's Opal Dust to the base colour and paper flowers.  She then added some of this beautiful lace.....how pretty is this?

For the 'F', some ribbon and decorative flowers make the letter look really girlie!
These decorative flowers are available in our beading shop at our bricks and mortar shop

I will update the blog with the final letters 'T' and 'S' later on in the week.

Magical Scrapbook Page using Kaiser papers

Catherine has used Kaiser papers from the These Days Collection. The muted vintage tones make it perfect for male or female projects.
12 x 12 Double sided paper -  150gsm, photo friendly

Here, Catherine has made a simple banner from a selection of papers from the These Days Collection, added some doodling and adhered some White Pearlised Flat Backed Heart Shaped Beads.

Some Kaiser Craft Paper Blooms and Kaiser self adhesive pearls add a delicate feature.

A beautiful Kaiser Rub On Transfer adds the perfect journalling touch to the layout.

Decorative border punches and strips of coordinated paper make a lovely feature alongside the photograph.

Wedding Favour Bag

Thought I would just share with you a gorgeous little favour bag that one of our customers, Doreen Hamilton has made for her daughter's wedding.

She has used her Cricut machine to cut out the little bag which she is going to fill with mints!

Doreen has used White Broderie Wedding Card to cut the bag out and threaded some satin ribbon through the bag for the handle.

She has made some extra butterflies as table sprinkle using the Tonic Multi Detail Craft Butterfly punch decorated with self adhesive gems.

Please hop over to The Mulberry Bush (on-line store) or visit our bricks and mortar shop Flutterby Crafts and visit our Wedding section, as we have everything you need to make your own stylish co-ordinating wedding stationery.

Papier Mache 3d letter 'C'

If you like 3d projects you will love this Papier Mache decorated letter that Lynn recently decorated.  Firstly, she has painted the letter all over with Jo Sonja's paints.

Lynn has used a selection of papers to decorate the letter 'C' together with some punched out butterflies in coordinating papers.

Then Lynn has added lots of yummy embellishments, so easy to do but very effective.

Please click on the individual links below to take you to each of the items used for this project, which are available in our on-line or bricks and mortar shop.

Eureka Craft Designs visiting

Guess who is coming to visit? This Saturday 21st April
10 'til 4pm

Hi Everybody

So the ancient Gods of the Rainclouds decided to try and break the drought. Fantastic for the water level, wonderful for the garden - shame that the dogs also considered it good for them going out for a walk. They refused to understand 'sorry, Lads, not today!'. Ho hum, four wet dogs and two wet dog walkers!!

What it does also mean is that the boys get worn out and I have been managing to do a bit of crafting!  And here are the pictures to prove it...

...as you can see Buzz is resting well having run around in the rain

.......and this box has been painted and crackled then finished with one of our new giant roses, a bit of opal dust and a piece of beautiful lace.

Anyway, rumour has it that this rain is due to carry on over the weekend, so it would be perfect for you all to come and watch a great demonstration by Alex and Jeanette from Eureka Craft Designs.  Come share a cuppa and see what they have to offer:

21st April  10 - 4pm
Demonstation with Alex

Those of you that know the Creative Craft Cabin of Twyford, or have met Alex and Jeanette at the Art Stamp Show, will know about the wonderful template cards that they make.  We are lucky enough to have them with us this Saturday.

This is a free event, but the urn will be out to raise funds for our favourite charity.

Also, bring your scissors and punches (punching is back in fashion, so dig them out!) and we will clean and recondition them while you are busy watching Alex and enjoying a cuppa.
We will charge 20p per pair of scissors or punch, which will go into our charity box.

The new workshop list is available in the shop now.  Remember that Nicky is going to be having fun with the colouring on a Thursday and that we now have a Thursday Knit'n'Natter, where Ruth will be happy to lead you on the correct path for knitting up a lovely cardi or crocheting a pretty blanket.

So make the most of the rainy weather to come and be inspired.

with best wishes from

Lynn and the Girls.

I know this is the third newsletter with this picture, but I just love it!!
